She is the Co-Founder of ORGANIZE, a non-profit organization dedicated to reforming the US organ donation system and increasing patient access to lifesaving transplants. The organ-donation crisis is one of the most persistent, expensive, and yet solvable public-health challenges of our time. Since its founding, ORGANIZE produced advocacy campaigns which the New York Times called one of the year's "Biggest Ideas in Social Change."  It built the US’s first centralized organ donor registry, co-hosted the White House Organ Donation Summit, which, in addition to other initiatives, launched $300 million worth of commitments across multiple sectors and was the Innovator in Residence in the Office of the Secretary of HHS which led to groundbreaking research that led to an Executive Order signed by the 45th Administration. It is estimated the organization’s efforts have led to reforms that could lead to 7,300 more organ transplants a year, save Medicare at least $1 billion in dialysis costs annually and increase transplant equity.
